What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy involves clinical care of the neuro-musculoskeletal system, which is made up of bones, muscles, nerves and connective tissue that support your body and control its movements. Osteopaths use a holistic approach when diagnosing and treating the human body, understanding the important link between the bodies structure and how it effects the way it functions.
An osteopathic consultation will include a detailed case history of your presenting complaint and past medical history, an assessment, an individual treatment plan and treatment which may include soft tissue, dry needling, joint articulaton and/or mobilisation, myofascial release and trigger point work. Treatment will be aimed at reducing muscle tightness and joint restrictions, improving range of motion and a reducing pain.

About Casey
Casey Hope graduated from RMIT University in 2003 with a double degree in Applied Science and Osteopathy. After practicing in Melbourne for 8 years, she relocated to Bunbury establishing Coastal Osteopathy in 2011. Being involved in sport from a young age, Casey loves how osteopathy approaches the body as a whole, integrating structure and function to enable people to perform to the best of their ability. Since graduating, Casey has done further study in Pregnancy and Pelvic Girdle Pain, Myofascial Release, Dry Needling and Tendinopathy Management. A keen runner, Casey enjoys keeping fit and exploring WA with her husband and three daughters.
